During a time when many fans stopped paying for cable and streaming services, we needed to give them a reason to keep ESPN around. So, to remind fans that nothing makes them feel more alive, we used a rising heartbeat as the backbone of our spot, mimicking the scientific fact that the human heart rate rises 75% while watching live sports.
